Statement
Since early morning National Assembly deputy Nikol Pashinyan has been carrying out an operation on blocking a number of streets considered vital for Yerevan, paralyzing the traffic and restricting hundreds of citizens' constitutional right to free movement.
Police of the Republic of Armenia is warning that such actions can cause crimes against life, health and property of citizens.
Police of the Republic of Armenia is once again clarifying that the right to peaceful assemblies, which are accompanied by gross violations of public order isn't absolute and can be restricted by proportionate police action resulting from the situation, up to the decision to terminate the assembly.
