Armenian Police detain a man wanted in Georgia for attempted murder
As a result of operational-search activities carried out by officers of the criminal investigation unit of Mashtots division of the RA Police and the General Department of Criminal Police, on Monday, March 29, 43-year-old Artem K. was detected in the Passport and Visa Department and taken to Mashtots division of the RA Police from there. The detainee had been wanted by law enforcement officers of the Republic of Georgia on charges of attempted murder.
Custody has been selected as a measure of restraint.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
