Due to the explanatory works of police officers

13.08.2013 12:23 Voluntary surrender of firearms and ammunition

On August 12, at 16:50, thanks to the explanatory works, carried out by officers of Department on combating illegal circulation of narcotic drugs along with officers of Kotayk provincial police department, within the complex prophylactic measures of “Cannabis-Poppy-2013” operation, Levon M., DOB 1984, voluntarily came to the police and handed in ammunition, partly 58 cartridges of various calibres, a grenade with no detonating fuse, a pistol charger and reported that the ammunition belonged to his late father who partook in the defensive actions of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
The ammunition was sent to an examination.
An investigation is underway.
