Armenian Police and OSCE office in Yerevan to foster effective cooperation (VIDEO)

On Thursday, May 5 Bernard Frank, newly appointed Politico-Military Programme Officer of the OSCE Office in Yerevan visited the Genereal Department on combating organized crime of Police of the Republic of Armenia.
Present at the meeting were Head of the GDCOC, Police Major General Rafayel Zaqaryan, First Deputy Head of the GDCOC, Police Colonel Alik Margaryan and other officials.
Mr. Zaqaryan welcomed the representatives of the OSCE office in Yerevan, stating that the cooperation with the OSCE office in Yerevan has so far proved highly effective. Rafayel Zaqaryan said that he hopes the bilateral partnership will further continue and deepen.

Bernard Frank, in his turn, assured that the cooperation will continue, new projects and programmes will be implemented.
Mr. Zaqaryan presented the structure of the General Department on combating organized crime of Police of the Republic of Armenia. Issues related to both policing and international crime were discussed.
At the end of the meeting representatives of the OSCE office n Yerevan donated computer equipment to the officers of the High Technology Crime Unit.
