2 cartridges found in one of “Zvartnots” airport garbage bins

19.11.2013 15:52 Detection of firearms and ammunition

At 06:30 on November 18 “Zvartnots” airport Linear division of Police of the Republic of Armenia received a report that the airport cleaner found 2 cartridges in the garbage bin in front of the private entrance to the airport arrival hall.
Members of the police task force arrived at the airport immediatly where they established that 2 cartridges of 7.62 mm calibre were found.
The found items were sent to examination.
The circumstances are beiing looked into.
Investigation is underway.
