Young man, wanted for a murder in the state of California, turns himself in to the Police after 7 years on the run
On Wednesday, March 3, 33-year-old Hakob M. turned himself in to Arabkir division of Police of the Republic of Armenia. The young man had been wanted by the law enforcement agencies of the U.S. state of California on charges of murder since January 24, 2014.
Custody has been selected as a measure of restraint.
The NCB of Interpol in Armenia and the prosecutor's office have been informed Hakob M.’s detention.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
