Astana hosts a meeting of CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs
Armenian police delegation headed by first deputy chief of the RA police, Major General Hunan Poghosyan left for Astana, capital of Kazakhstan, on September 9, where the regular meeting of CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs will take place.
Issues included in the annotated agenda are as follows: priorities of the cooperation between the ministries of internal affairs (police systems) of the CIS member states, the implementation of the interstate program of joint measures for combating crime, elaboration of the conception of development of cooperation between the the ministries of internal affairs of the CIS member states and etc.
Particularly, the parties will discuss the progress of the realization of the projects of the interstate program of joint measures for combating crime from 2014 to 2018, realization of program of cooperation in combating illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursor and counteraction to drug abuse, as well as the implementation of a number of decisions made during the previous meetings.
