New speedometers to be exploited in Yerevan and Hrazdan from April 7, 2014
Traffic Police of the Republic of Armenia would like to inform You that speedometer installation works on the metropolitan streets and highways of interstate significance are underway.
In particular, speedometers recently located on the road sections mentioned below will be exploited from April 7, 2014:
1. Mashtots avenue, Yerevan, (direction: from the intersection of Mashtots avenue and Pushkin street towards the intersection of Mashtots avenue and Amiryan street) 1 speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 km/h;
2. in the underpass located at the intersection of Khanjyan and Heratsi streets – 1 double faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 km/h;
3. Saralanji street, Yerevan (direction: from the intersection of Saralanji and Armenakyan streets towards the intersection of Saralanji and Glinka streets) 1 double-faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 40 km/h;
4. 1.9th km of R-28 («R-28 – Hrazdan – M-4») highway of republican significance (administrative territory of Hrazdan town) – 1 double faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 km/h;
Traffic Police once again urge drivers to keep the traffic rules.
