Armenian law enforcers detain Indian citizen wanted for committing especially grave crimes
As a result of operational-search measures carried out by the officers of the border troops of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, Interpol National Central Beaureau in Armenia and Noyemberyan Police division of the Republic of Armenia, 30-year-old citizen of the Republic of India Takur S. was detained on at the Bagratashen checkpoint August 14, at 21.50 and taken from there to Bagratashen police division. The foreigner had been wanted by Indian law enforcement agencies for committing grave crimes, including terrorism and murder.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
