Driver arrested after committing a fatal running down accident in Gyumri

About 22:20 on May 12, the driver of a “GAZel-322132” model automobile ran down Gagik Mkrtchyan, DOB 1974, and Rima Mkrtchyan, DOB 1937, in front of building 9 located on Sayat-Nova street, Gyumri city.
As a result of the accident Rima Mkrtchyan deceased on the spot, and Gagik Mkrtchyan was hospitalized with bodily injuries.
The driver is arrested.
A preliminary investigation is underway.
