The Minister of Internal Affairs Receives the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to Armenia

On March 28th, Vahe Ghazaryan, the Minister of Internal Affairs for Armenia, welcomed Giorgi Sharvashidze, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Armenia. Ghazaryan congratulated Sharvashidze on his appointment and expressed his hope for efficient and successful collaboration in the future.
Ghazaryan also highlighted the close relationship between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Armenia and Georgia, which have been working together for years to combat crime. Sharvashidze reciprocated the warm welcome and expressed his eagerness to deepen and expand cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Arpine Sargsyan, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, presented the ongoing work aimed at reforming the structure of the Ministry. Sargsyan highlighted the introduction of patrol services in various regions, reforms of criminal police and territorial units, and the implementation of a water patrol service in Lake Sevan.
The discussion also included topics of mutual interest, such as the exchange of experiences between the employees of the two Ministries. Overall, the meeting was productive and demonstrated the commitment of both countries to strengthening their partnership.
