Man fatally struck on Meghri-Yerevan road

On Thursday, December 3 Sisian police division received a report informing that «Ford Transit» driver Vardan Babayan, DOB 1955, was fatally struck by «Opel Astra» driver Avedik S., DOB 1941, on the 188 km of Meghri-Yerevan road at 12:30 p.m. that same day.
In connection with the incident a criminal case under the RA Criminal Code, article 242, part 2 has been initiated  at Sisian investigation division.

Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
