Israeli citizen detained at Yerevan's Zvartnots airport for illegal sale of natural precious stones in Russia
As a result of the operational search measures conducted by the criminal investigation staff of the Zvartnots airport Line division of the RA Police, Tel Aviv – Yerevan flight passenger, Israeli citizen Samir Teymur Rzayev was detained on May 6, at 8.20 am. The detainee had been wanted by MIA General Administration for the city of Moscow on charges under Part 2 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Illegal Sale of Precious Metals, Natural Precious Stones, or Pearls) since August 20, 2018.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
