Head of the Armenian Police meets with the Iranian Ambassador to Armenia (VIDEO and PHOTOS)

On Wednesday, December 16 Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia Vladimir Gasparyan received the delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia Mr. Seyyed Kazem Sajjad.
Welcoming the guests, the Police Chief attached great importance to the traditional relationship between the two countries, highlighting, that the Cooperation agreement signed in 2012 is being fully implemented. Vladimir Gasparyan stated that there are all the opportunities to further deepen the joint work.
Mr. Seyyed Kazem Sajjad expressed hisa appreciation for the warm welcome extended to them and highly assessed the security level in Armenia. Mr. Ambassador expressed his conviction that the existing partnership will further deepen owing to the develoment of the traditional ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia as well.
Vladimir Gasparyan noted that Armenian-Iranian police cooperation is not only traditional, but continuous as well, and a delegation from the Armenian Police is currently in Tehran on a working visit.
The Police Chief underlined the importance of deepening the relations between the partner structures through exchanging experience and improving law enforcement.
The meeting agenda also included other issues of mutual interest.
