Driver gives himself up after committing a fatal running-down accident

On July 8, between 05:00 and 08:20 the driver of an unidentified model automobile ran down Lyova Khachatryan on the 48-th km of Yerevan-Yeraskh highway. The sufferer deceased on the spot, and the driver fled the scene.
Due to the operational and search measures at 16:25,  on the same day, Rudik S., DOB 1959, gave himself up and reported that it was he who ran down Lyova Khachatryan while driving his “GAZ-3110” model automobile in Marmarashen village area, and then escaped from the scene.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
