Police detain man wanted by Russian law enforcement bodies for illegal crossing of state border

Thanks to the special measures taken by officers from Qanaqer and Zeytun division along with their colleagues from Qanaqer and Zeytun passport subdivision of the RA Police, Ashot G., DOB 1972, was detained this weekend. The man had been wanted by the Department of National Security Service for Chelyabinsk oblast, Russia charged under the Russian Criminal Code, article 322, part 2 /illegal crossing of state border/ since October 25, 2013.
Custody has been selected as a measure of restraint. 
Ashot G. has been handed over to the Place of keeping arrested persons of the city of Yerevan.
