Murder in Akhuryan village

At 13:20 on January 29 Akhuryan police division reveived a report from the Operations Management Center of Yerevan city Department of Police of the Republic of Armenia, informing that an alarmed citizen had contacted them and reported that his brother Garegin Hakobyan, DOB 1962, and the latter's wife Manishak Hakobyan, DOB 1965, killed each other in their own apartment.
Arriving at the scene Police operatives found the bodies of the two spouses with slit necks.
Shirak Provincial Investigation division initiated a criminal case under the Republic of Armenia Criminal code, article 104, part 1.
Prelliminary investigation is underway.
