Spitak police detain a man wanted in Cyprus
As a result of operational-search measures carried out by the officers of the Criminal Investigation unit of Spitak Police division, on Wednesday, December 23, 43-year-old Artur D. was detained in one of the houses in the village of Arevashokh, Lori Marz, and taken to the police division. The man had been wanted by the NCB Interpol on charges under several articles of the Republic of Cyprus Criminal Code.
The prosecutor's office and the NCB of Interpol in Armenia have been notified of Arthur D.’s detection.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
