Armenian police officers detain a citizen of Georgia wanted in Russia for fraud in electronic payment transactions
46-year-old citizen of Georgia Roland A. was detained at «Bagratashen» BCP and taken from there to Bagratashen branch of the RA Police on May 8, at 9 p.m. The detainee had been wanted by the department of the city of Rostov-on-Don of the General Department of the Russian MIA for Rostov oblast under article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Fraud, committed in electronic payment systems) since February 1, 2018.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
