After 9 years on the run Armenian Police detain man wanted by Russian law enforcement bodies for committing robbery
Thanks to the measures taken by officers from the General Department of criminal intelligence, Ararat M., DOB 1969, was detained in Yerevan. The man had been wanted by the Department of the Russian MIA for the city of Pyatigorsk of Stavropol krai, Russia, charged under the Russian Criminal Code, article 161, part 2 /robbery/ since May 21, 2007.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
