Man wanted by Russian Law enforcement bodies for torture detained in the village of Lanjik
Thanks to the operational intelligence measures taken by officers from Ani police division, Arayik H., DOB 1982, was detained in the village of Lanjik on Saturday, January 16 at 4 p.m. The detainee had been wanted by Russian law enforcement bodies charged under the Russian Criminal Code, article 117, part 1 /torture/ since January 11, 2016.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
