New speedometers to be exploited on highways of interstate significance from February 12, 2014
Traffic Police of the Republic of Armenia inform that speedometer installation works on the metropolitan streets and highways of interstate significance are underway.
In particular, from February 12, 2014, speedometers recently located on the following road sections will be exploited:
1. 89.2 km of M-6 («Vanadzor-Alaverdi-border with Georgia”) highway of interstate significance (administrative territory of Ptghavan village) – 1 double faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 km/h;
2. 7.6 km of M-16 («M-4-Voskepar - Noyemberyan – M-6”) highway of interstate significance (administrative territory of Sarigyugh village) – 1 double faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 km/h.
3. 36.6 km of M-16 («M-4-Voskepar - Noyemberyan – M-6”) highway of interstate significance (administrative territory of Jujevan village) – 1 double faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 km/h.
4. 48.1 km of M-16 («M-4-Voskepar - Noyemberyan – M-6”) highway of interstate significance (administrative territory of Berdavan village) – 1 double faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 km/h.
The Traffic Police once more urge drivers to keep the Traffic rules.
