Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (July 3-4)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 52 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from July 3 to July 4.
In particular, 16 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 11 cases of swindling, 5 cases of theft of personal property, 4 cases of abuse of official power, 3 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 3 cases of bribery, 2 cases of extortion, 2 cases of detection of narcotics, 2 cases of official forgery or official negligence, 1 case of kidnapping, 1 case tax evasion and 1 case of seizure of arms and ammunition.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries has been detected, 1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
Over the past 1 day, 13 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 1 person died, 15 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
