Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (July 4-6)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 66 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from July 4 to July 6.
In particular, 30 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 15 cases of swindling, 4 cases of theft of personal property, 4 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 4 cases of abuse of official power, 3 cases of detection of narcotics, 2 cases of seizure of arms and ammunition, 1 case of robbery, 1 case of extortion, 1 case of intentional destruction of property and 1 case of illegal logging.
From earlier committed crimes 4 cases of theft and 1 case of robbery have been detected.
Over the past 2 days, 26 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 3 persons died, 42 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
