Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (May 5-7)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 38 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from May 5 to May 7.
In particular, 19 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 4 cases of theft of personal property, 4 cases of swindling, 3 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 2 cases of kidnapping, 1 case of residential burglary, 1 case of intentional destruction of property, 1 case of hooliganism, 1 case of counterfeiting, 1 case of bribery and 1 case of theft of car.
From earlier committed crimes 5 cases of theft of personal property, 2 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 1 case of theft of state or public property have been solved, 4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
Over the past 2 days, 19 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 27 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
