Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (June 6 – June 7)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 30 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from June 6 to June 7.
In particular, 9 cases of theft of personal property, 8 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 4 cases of hooliganism, 3 cases of squandering or embezzlment, 1 case of rape or attempted rape, 1 case of pinping, 1 case of illegal logging and 1 case of abuse of official power.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of murder, 1 case of theft of state or public property and 1 case of personal property have have been detected, 1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
Over the past 1 day, 13 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 21 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
