Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (June 7 – June 8)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 35 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from June 7 to June 8.
In particular, 10 cases of theft of personal property, 7 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 7 cases of swindling, 3 cases of robbery, 2 cases of kidnapping, 1 case of robbery, 1 case of squandering or embezzlment, 1 case of seizure of arms and ammunition, 1 case of hooliganism, 1 case of detection of narcotics and 1 case of abuse of official power.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of robbery and 1 case of personal property have been detected, 2 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
Over the past 1 day, 9 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 19 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
