Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (May 11-14)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 70 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from May 11 to May 14.
In particular, 23 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 19 cases of theft of personal property, 13 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 4 cases of swindling, 3 cases of detection of narcotics, 1 case of murder, 1 case of kidnapping, 1 case of robbery, 1 case of residential burglary, 1 case of hooliganism, 1 case of official forgery or official negligence, 1 case of use of violence against a representative of authortiy.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 1 case of theft of personal property and 1 case of robbery have been solved, 1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
Over the past 3 days, 24 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 1 person died, 38 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
