Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (February 15-16)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 14 out of 15 cases of infliction of bodily injuries registered in the territory of the republic from February 15 to February 16, as well as 13 cases of theft, 3 cases of swindling, 3 cases of illegal felling of trees, 1 case of swindling, 1 case of kidnapping and 1 case of tax evasion have been solved, 4 cases of detection of narcotics have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of cybercrime, 1 case of destruction of property and 2 cases of theft have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 5 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 11 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
