Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (May 16-17)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 22 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from May 16 to May 17.
In particular, 8 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 4 cases of theft of personal property, 3 cases of swindling, 2 cases of car theft, 1 case of seizure of arms and ammunition, 2 cases of hooliganism, 1 case of theft of state or public property, 1 case of detection of narcotics.
1 case of theft of personal property has been solved, 3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
Over the past 1 day, 4 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 4 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
