Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (April 18-19)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 27 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from April 18 to April 19.
In particular, 11 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 6 cases of theft of personal property, 3 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 2 cases of intentional destruction of property, 1 case of kidnapping, 1 case of swindling, 1 case of abuse of official power, 1 case of official forgery or official negligence, 1 case of use of violence against a representative of authority.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition were registered.
Over the past 1 day, 4 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 8 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
