Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (June 19 – June 20)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 40 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from June 19 to June 20.
In particular, 12 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 9 cases of theft, 6 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 5 cases of swindling, 2 cases of tax evasion, 2 cases of hooliganism, 2 cases of detection of arms and ammunition, 1 case of rape or attempted rape and 1 case of robbery.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of theft of personal property have been detected, 6 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
Over the past 1 day, 9 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 1 persion died, 29 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
