According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 64 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from May 24 to May 25, 9 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 12 cases of personal theft, 5 cases of causing bodily harm, 4 cases of fraud, drug detection and abuse of authority by employees of commercial or other organizations, 2 cases of attempted murder, theft of state or public property, squandering or embezzlement, deliberate destruction of property, tax evasion, seizure of weapons and ammunition, hooliganism and threats of murder, 1 case of extortion, illegal felling of trees, official forgery or official negligence, violence against a representative of authorities, bribery of voters, obstruction of the free expression of the will of voters, illegal deprivation of liberty, domestic violence, illegal raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances, deliberate refusal to comply with a decision to intervene, battery and damage to property through negligence.
1 missing person has been detected, 3 wanted persons have been detained, 10 others turned themselves in to the Police.
6 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 4 cases of personal theft, 2 cases of burglary, 1 case of causing bodily injuries, fraud and intentional damage to property have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 8 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 8 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
