Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (February 28 – March 1)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 10 out of 13 cases of infliction of bodily injuries registered in the territory of the republic from February 28 to March 1, as well as 9 cases of theft, 6 cases of swindling, 2 cases of squandering, 1 case of illegal felling of trees, 1 case of kidnapping, 1 case of robbery and 1 case of intentional destruction of property have been solved, 5 cases of detection of narcotics have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of theft have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 4 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 6 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
