According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 70 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from May 31 to June 1, 2 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 23 cases of personal theft, 13 cases of bribery, 10 cases of causing bodily harm, 5 cases of fraud and domestic violence, 2 cases of intentional damage to property, 1 case of burglary, squandering or embezzlement, seizure of weapons and ammunition, hooliganism, illegal felling of trees, abuse of office, coercion into sexual intercourse with the use of threats, threats of willful infliction of grievous bodily harm, threats of murder and perjury in court.
1 missing person has been detected, 2 wanted persons have been detained, 7 others turned themselves in to the Police.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 2 cases of personal theft have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 16 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 19 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
