Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (March 1-2)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 5 out of 6 cases of infliction of bodily injuries registered in the territory of the republic from March 1 to March 2, as well as 14 cases of theft, 6 cases of swindling, 2 cases of squandering, 1 case of kidnapping, 1 case of extortion, 1 case of counterfeiting, 1 case of poaching and 1 case of bribery have been solved, 2 cases of detection of narcotics and 2 cases of seizure of arms and ammunition have registered.
From earlier committed crimes 12 cases of theft and 2 cases of infliction of bodily injuries have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 6 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 10 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
