The criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (April 3-4)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 57 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from April 3 to April 4, 5 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 10 cases of personal theft, 6 cases of infliction of bodily harmand burglary, 5 cases of fraud, 4 cases of drug detection and bribery, 3 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement, abuse of office and threats of murder, 2 cases of hooliganism and battery, 1 case of tax evasion, illegal felling of trees and infliction of damage to property through negligence.
2 wanted persons have been detected, another one turned himself in to the Police, 1 missing person has been found, 7 cases of surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of burglary and illegal felling of trees, 1 case of personal theft have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 9 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 12 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
