The criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (March 4- 5)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 49 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from March 4 to March 5.
In particular, 11 cases of fraud, 9 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 8 cases of theft of personal property, 3 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement, hooliganism and drug detection, 2 cases of robbery and abuse of official authority, 1 case of vehicle theft, illegal sale of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, self-harming, manufacture and sale of fake wine, fake vodka or other fake alcohol beverages, illegal participation in entrepreneurial activities and forgery of documents.
5 wanted persons have been detected, 2 others surrendered themselves to the Police, 5 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 3 cases of theft of personal property and 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 8 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 8 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
