Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (December 4-5)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 61 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from December 4 to December 5.
In particular, 14 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 8 cases of theft of personal property and 8 cases of fraud, 5 cases of abuse of authority, 4 cases of battery, 3 cases of forgery of documents, 2 cases of burglary and hooliganism, 1 case of kidnapping, death threats, intentional destruction of property, poaching, attempts to illegally cross the State border, unlawful deprivation of liberty, arbitrary seizure of land plots in state or municipal property or failure to eliminate its consequences, illegal payment to a public servant who is not an official, destruction or damage to historical and cultural monuments, obstruction of the exercise of electoral rights, the work of election commissions or the exercise of authority of electoral officials, giving a bribe to voters, accepting a bribe, violating a ban on philanthropy during elections or obstructing free will of voters, destruction or damage to campaign posters and consumer fraud.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of theft of personal property have been detected, 1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
Over the past 1 day, 4 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 4 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
