According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 70 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from April 5 to April 6, 5 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 23 cases of personal theft, 8 cases of causing bodily harm, 7 cases of fraud, 6 cases of domestic violence, 4 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 3 cases of abuse of office, 2 cases of burglary, intentional destruction of property and official forgery or official intelligence, 1 case of theft of state or public property, tax evasion, seizure of weapons and ammunition, detection of drugs, illegal felling of trees, damage to property by deception, failure or improper performance of professional duties by persons carrying out medical care and medical care which caused death of a person, purchase of a child for the purpose of custody of him or sale of a child in order to transfer him to the person who took custody of the child.
3 wanted persons have been detained, 2 others turned themselves in to the Police.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 3 cases of personal theft, 1 case of causing bodily injuries and damage to property have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 11 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 14 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
