Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (December 5-6)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 45 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from December 5 to December 6.
In particular, 8 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 7 cases of fraud, 4 cases of squandering or embezzlement and death threats, 3 cases of bribery and 3 cases of battery, 2 cases of kidnapping, theft of personal property and abuse of authority, 1 case of burglary, car theft, illegal felling of trees, use of violence against a representative of authority, forgery of documents, inciting national, racial and religious hatred, unlawful deprivation of liberty, self-harm and drug trafficking.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of theft of personal property and burglary have been detected, 1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered, 6 wanted persons have been detained, and three others surrendered themselves to the Police, 2 missing persons have been found.
Over the past 1 day, 8 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 10 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
