Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (January 10-11)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 56 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from January 10 to 11.
In particular, 15 cases of possession of property obtained by crime, 12 cases of theft of personal property, 7 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 4 cases of fraud and battery, 3 cases of kidnapping and illegal business or false business, 2 cases of squandering or embezzlement and failure to fulfill or improper fulfillment of their professional duties to provide medical services or medical assistance, 1 case of robbery, burglary, abuse of official authority and anti-competitive activities.
3 wanted people have been detected, 5 others surrendered themselves to the Police, 1 missing person has been found.
From earlier committed crimes 9 cases of theft of personal property and 1 case of fraud have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 14 accidents have been registered in the republic: 18 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
