According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 70 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from January 11 to January 12, 4 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 17 cases of fraud, 1 cases of theft of personal property, 7 cases of causing bodily harm, 3 cases of burglary, squandering or embezzlement and abuse of office, 2 cases of theft of state and public property, tax evasion, seizure of weapons and ammunition, detecting narcotic drugs, battery, threats of murder and domestic violence, 1 case of rape or attempted rape, robbery, intentional damage to property, cybercrime, hooliganism, public calls for violence, failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel, which caused through negligence the patient’s death and forgery of documents.
8 wanted persons have been detained, 2 others turned themselves in to the Police.
2 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 2 cases of intentional damage to property and 1 case of personal theft and committing a running-down accident have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 8 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 19 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
