Crime news report for the period from 11 to 14 September
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 120 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from September 11 to September 14, 5 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 24 cases of causing bodily harm, 20 cases of detecting drugs, 15 cases of fraud, 12 cases of theft of personal property, 7 cases of abuse of office, 6 cases of burglary, 4 cases of domestic violence, illegal felling of trees and battery, 2 cases of squandering or embezzlement, seizure of weapons and ammunition and cultivation of prohibited plants containing narcotic drugs, 1 case of kidnapping, robbery, intentional damage to property, extortion, tax evasion, counterfeiting, bribery, human trafficking or their exploitation, destruction or damage to historical monuments or culture, destruction or damage to historical and cultural monuments, organization, destruction or damage of monuments of history and culture, drug trafficking, arbitrariness and violation of the inviolability of home.
1 missing person has been located, 4 wanted persons have been detected, 4 others turned themselves in to the Police.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 5 cases of theft of personal property have been solved.
Over the past 3 days, 40 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 2 persons died, 59 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
