Crime news daily report

According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 59 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from September 17 to September 18, 5 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 11 cases of fraud, 9 cases of causing bodily harm and theft of personal property, 3 cases of abuse of office, domestic violence, forgery and smuggling of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, 2 cases of squandering or embezzlement and detection of narcotic drugs, 1 case of burglary, counterfeiting, seizure of weapons and ammunition, illegal felling of trees, violation of the rules for the use and protection of subsoil, failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel, willful evasion from supporting one’s child by the parent, illegal raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic substances and violations of the requirements of the decision on urgent intervention.
1 missing person has been located, 4 wanted persons have been detected, 3 others turned themselves in to the Police.
1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of theft of personal property, 1 case of causing bodily harm, robbery and car theft have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 11 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 16 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
