According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 54 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from May 21 to May 22, 5 of which were previously committed crimes.
In particular, 17 cases of infliction of bodily harm, 6 cases of personal theft, 5 cases of fraud, 4 cases of threat, 3 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement, 2 cases of hooliganism and battery, 1 case of attempted murder, robbery, seizure of weapons and ammunition, drug detection, abuse of power, official forgery or official negligence, espionage, unlawful separation of a child from parents or substitution of a child, illegal crossing of the State border and evasion from paying alimony.
6 wanted persons have been found, 2 others turned themselves in to the Police, 2 missing persons have been found.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of infliction of bodily harm, personal theft, robbery and hooliganism have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 14 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 3 persons died, 21 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
