Crime news report for the period from 19 to 22 November
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 114 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from 19 to 22 November, 7 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 25 cases of personal theft, 16 cases of causing bodily harm, 12 cases of fraud, 11 cases of drug detection, 7 cases of domestic violence, 5 cases of theft of state or public property and illegal felling of trees, 3 cases of grave insult, 2 cases of burglary, intentional destruction of property, battery, threats of murder and official negligence, 1 case of robbery, extortion, squandering or embezzlement, tax evasion, seizure of weapons and ammunition, bribery, abuse of office, violence against a representative of authorities, smuggling of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, illegal entreprenurial activity and usury, destruction or damage to historical and cultural monuments, destruction or damage to property through negligence, grave insult and drunk driving by a person who has no right to drive a vehicle, and cruelty to animals.
1 missing person has been located, 10 wanted persons have been detained, 6 others turned themselves in to the Police.
From earlier committed crimes, 3 cases of personal theft, 1 case of murder, causing bodily harm, illegal tree felling and fraud have been detected.
Over the past 3 days, 31 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 3 persons died, 37 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
