According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 129 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from June 21 to June 24, 7 of which were a previously committed crime.
In particular, 32 cases of infliction of bodily harm, 23 cases of personal theft, 18 cases of fraud, 10 cases of drug detection, 6 cases of battery, 5 cases of threat, 4 cases of abuse of office, 3 cases of death threats, 2 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement and hijacking of a vehicle, 1 case of murder, rape or attempted rape, robbery, extortion, seizure of weapons and ammunition, illegal felling of trees, poaching, official forgery or official negligence, use of violence against a representative of authorities, damage to property due to negligence, disrespect for the court, unlawful use of a trademark, obstruction of lawful business or other economic activity, forgery, illegal seeding, cultivation of plants that contain illicit drugs, malicious evasion of a protective decision, and illegal payment by a public servant who is not an official.
7 wanted persons have been found, 6 others turned themselves in to the Police, 1 missing person has been found, 3 cases of surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 5 cases of personal theft and 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries have been solved.
Over the past 3 days, 38 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 55 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
