Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (April 25-26)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 21 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from April 25 to April 26.
In particular, 7 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 4 cases of swindling, 3 cases of theft of personal property, 3 cases of tax evasion, 1 case of rape or attempted rape, 1 case of robbery, 1 case of squandering or embezzlement, 1 case of intentional destruction of property.
1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition was registered.
Over the past 1 day, 12 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 16 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
