The criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (March 27-28)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 54 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from March 27 to March 28, 6 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 9 cases of fraud, 8 cases of theft of personal property, 7 cases of bodily harm, 4 cases of abuse of office, 3 cases of drug detection and, 2 cases of illegal cutting of trees and bribery, 1 case of robbery of state or public property, burglary, misappropriation or embezzlement, hooliganism, the voluntary surrender of psychotropic substances, the sale of drugs, beatings and prompting to suicide.
1 wanted person has been detected, another one turned himself in to the Police, 4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of personal theft, 1 case of murder and robberyhave been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 5 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 8 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
